Breaking...  Senator Tokunbo Abiru Wins APC Lagos East Senatorial Ticket For 2023 Elections  The Senator representing Lagos East Senatorial District, Distinguished Senator Mukhail Adetokunbo Abiru, FCA has won the All Progressives Congress (APC) Lagos East Senatorial ticket for the 2023 general elections. Abiru, the Chairman, Senate Committee on industries who contested unopposed cleared all the 344 votes cast by delegates from wards in the Local Governments areas under the district. The primary election was held on Saturday at CMD, Magodo Area of Ikosi Isheri LCDA. Hemp seller slits girlfriend’s throat over slippers, dumps corpse A hemp seller, identified simply as Toba, has allegedly slit the throat of his girlfriend, Tunrayo Odubanjo, and dumped her corpse in a bush in Kara-Kekere community, Ogunrun, Mowe, in the Obafemi Owode area of Ogun State. PUNCH Metro gathered that Toba and his girlfriend were at his residence when he sent her to get an alcoholic drink on Wednesday. The victim was said to have worn his slippers to the place.
