PRINCE BABATUNDE SALIU FOUNDATION DONATES EXERCISE BOOKS TO SCHOOLS IN OWOROSHOKI. Education, as globally acclaimed, is the best gift and legacy that one can bequeath on a child. And in traditional African parenting and raising a child is a noble job usually carried out by the whole community. Yesterday, Prince Babatunde Saliu Foundation distributed exercise books to Muslim Mission Junior Secondary School and Senior Secondary School in Oworoshoki. The foundation initiated this gesture to reduce the cost of educational burden, in materials, of the younger ones, especially the indigents. The Cardinal philosophy of Prince Babatunde Saliu Foundation was to affect the lives of the less-privileged persons. This the foundation believes, will bring radical improvement, in concentration, for them. The gesture was also intended to cater for basic educational needs of indigent pupils in Kosofe.

The Executive Chairman of Kosofe Local Government Barrister Moyosore Ogunlewe has reiterated the commitment of his administration to the provision of adequate welfare packages to the council’s workers to enhance their efficiency. Barrister  Moyosore Ogunlewe made the statement yesterday during the statutory visit of the commissioners of the Lagos Government Service Commission to the local government secretariat. The Council Chairman while addressing the commissioners acknowledged the diligence and support the management and staff of the council had given him since assuming office. MC Oluomo says Lagos tickets, not NURTW’s sold at parks  The National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) in Lagos is still selling tickets at motor parks and garages. This is despite the suspension of all activities by the national body and Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu-led government. In a statement today, the suspended NURTW Chairman, Musiliu Akinsanya alias MC Oluomo told union members to continue operations. The notice advised that any disruption of activities by police be reported to the leadership for rectification. Hours after the circular went public, Oluomo issued an update denying that he authorized the sale of NURTW tickets. The embattled chairman clarified that the ones being sold belong to the Lagos government.
