*COMMUNITY PROTECTION: Kosofe Indigents Receive Free Legal Support As Granted By Sofola* In a bid to assist vulnerable persons battling with any form of Legal/Psycho-social matters, out of cheer Civic Responsibility function; *Children and community Protection Network (CCPN)* in conjunction with *Rights Enforcement & Public Law Centre (REPLACE)* conducted a *Free Legal Clinic* to Indigents of Kosofe Local Government held on Thursday, 10th September, 2020 at Kosofe Council. Alhaji Awofeso Rasheed who is also the coordinator of Child Protection Network , kosofe Chapter said; "The program is to help the downtrodden in the society to obtain justice in all sphere of endeavors despite their pecuniary position in the society"  "The legal Aids council is fully ready to assist in this regards. ABOUT-KOSOFE INTRODUCTION Kosofe is one of the twenty local governments in Lagos State. However, in October 2003, the Lagos State government created 37 al Council Development areas (LCDAS) out of the original 20 local governments in the state as a solution to the political yearnings of the people. Thus, 2 LCDAS namely, Ikosi-lsheri and Agboyi-Ketu LCDAS were carved out of the old Kosofe Local Government though Lagos is no longer the political capital of Nigeria, it is still the commercial and economic nerve centre of this great African nation.
