New Year Celebration: Sanni Okanlawon(Okla) congratulates constituents, reiterates commitment to quality representation, projects facilitation.
Bemoans the death of Senator Osinowo, Barr. Buraimoh, others in 2020
As the people of Kosofe Constituency 1 join the rest of the world to celebrate the arrival of year 2021, the Lawmaker representing the Constituency in Lagos State House of Assembly Hon. Sanni Babatunde Okanlawon has sent his congratulatory message to the people of the area wishing them the very best in 2021.
The Lawmaker in his new year message to his constituents expressed strong belief that year 2021 would be a better year for the constituents in the area of infrastructural development and human capacity building and therefore reiterate his commitment towards providing quality representation and facilitation of infrastructural projects that would enhance their well-being and development of the area.
Okla as he his fondly called said, “I wish my constituents the very best in the new year. I pray that the new year usher in the very best and good tidings in all households. I want to assure you that year 2021 promises to be a good year to all of us in terms of infrastructural development.
“We have always been passionate about development and growth in this constituency. The growth of every human in the constituency has always been my take in terms of responsibility to my constituents. In 2020, we worked very hard to lobby for some of the Infrastructural development to take place in the constituency such as roads rehabilitation and construction, drainages and clearing of canals to avoid unnecessary flooding while Ongoing projects have been provided for in the budget.
“In the year 2021 a lot of value will be added to education in terms of provision of learning materials to the students while schools are to be renovated. We will also try our best to fix boreholes in areas where potable water could not be accessed. We will do a lot of empowerments and vocational training in the year 2021 and organise sports competitions for youth development”.
And while stating that the people of the area should give praise and thanks to God for seeing through year 2020 which he noted was a difficult one, he however expressed deep sadness over the loss of prominent personalities in Kosofe Local Government Area in 2020 such as Late Senator Adebayo Osinowo, Hon. Barrister Tunde Buraimoh, Engr. Fatai Oyesanya and Alhaja Mosunmola Sofola and prayed Almighty Allah to give them eternal rest.
