The pet project of Hon. Barr. Moyosore Ogunlewe, tagged  "Kosofe Food Bank", a free food exercise designed to cushion the excruciating effect of fuel subsidy removal, received a boost from a foundation named Noella  with the distribution of 2,000 10kg bags of free rice to the residents of Kosofe local Government.
The elated recipient of the free rice,  Mrs. Ganiyat Raji, a resident of Oworonshoki, grinned from ear to ear as she clutched the bag of rice and said the food would assist the family to some extent. She thanked the Executive Chairman, Barrister Moyosore Ogunlewe and the Noella Foundation for their magnanimity.
Speaking in a similar vein, a lucky young man, Mr. Joseph Ogunbanjo a resident of Maryland who also got the rice lauded the council Chairman and the collaborator, Noella Foundation for the Christmas gift. He prayed for their progress and God's protection for remembering people at the grassroots.
Another beneficiary who simply identified herself as Adejoke from Ojota was full of praise for the Executive Chairman and the foundation. She prayed that the duo and their families would not go hungry and that whatever they laid their hands on would prosper.

Noella Foundation,  whose mission is to develop and execute impactful initiatives that address various key challenges that the country currently faces has expressed its satisfaction in partnering with the Kosofe local government to give the palliatives to the people.

The foundation representative, Mrs. Adejoke Kadejo said the foundation is pleased with the turnout and the organization of the distribution.

She said the initiative they were running in conjunction with Kosofe Local Government was designed to help the community and reach out to a certain number of people with about 2000 bags.

She added that the initiative is going to be an ongoing one and that they intend to reach out to other local governments as well.

The Executive  Chairman, Barrister Moyosore Ogunlewe said it was a pleasure serving people, adding that their welfare is his primary concern.

Ogunlewe expressed appreciation to NOELLA Foundation for collaborating with the local government to eradicate hunger.

He emphasized the importance of collaboration in addressing societal challenges, stressing that the initiative complemented the food bank program his administration had undertaken to alleviate hunger within the last 3 months in the local government area.

"I want to thank NOELLA Foundation for this wonderful initiative. Everyone knows how the country is and this really helps those within the community.
"Kosofe food bank initiative was also launched about 3 months ago and we have been doing it every month and also distributing palliatives to people in their various homes.

"It's the right step in the right direction. We need support and NOELLA Foundation is doing that by bringing succour": the council boss remarked.

The Secretary to the Council was full of praises to the foundation for coming to the aid of the people whose welfare is too precious to toy with.
