2023 BUDGET RETREAT: OGUNLEWE ENJOINS STAFF TO BE MORE PROACTIVE ..... 
........Promises fiscal discipline and infrastructural development at the Council's retreat... . 
The effervescent Executive Chairman of Kosofe Local Government, Hon. Barrister  Moyosore Ogunlewe has given the council and its workforce  a pass mark for a job well done. He said the developmental strides his Administration recorded on the budget performances of last year were highly commendable and above par. The council number one man made this remark at the year 2023 Council's  budget retreat held at Novate Hotel, Chevy View Estate, Lekki. Said he, "the retreat is designed basically to fulfil the responsibility of this Administration".
Speaking further, Kosofe Council  Chairman explained that his Administration has resolved irrevocably that positive impact  like the last year, would  repeat itself this year in term of infrastructural upgrading while his administration  would prioritize some key areas.He reiterated that areas as health care services, Education,  Roads construction, among others, would top his agenda, adding that he would not relent in ensuring that innovative ideas are brought on board.
 Ogunlewe gave thank to Almighty God for all the Council's modest achievements in the  year under review as  attested to by the people through their positive feedback, promising another purposeful and people- centred projects in the coming year.

OGUNLEWE'S AIDE, FUNSHO SAMAGBEYI, BURIES FATHER IN-LAW IN DELTA STATE. The father-in-law of the Senior Special Assistant on  Health to Hon. Barr. Moyosore Ogunlewe was on Saturday buried in his hometown at the Frederick-Ishie Residence, Along Frederick-Ishie Crescent Umutu , Ukwuani Local Government Area of Delta State. The late Mr. Frederick O. Ishie  who died on 20th day of August 2023 at the age of 70 years, was the father of Dr.Mrs. Samagbeyi.    The late Frederick served as the general manager (Technical) of the Insurance Powerhouse, Standard Insurance Consultants.  Late Fred is an associate member of the Institute of Commercial Management Berkshire England and also an executive member of American Institute of Management, Boston.
