Hon. Idowu Oluloro Hosts Free House-To-House Xmas Funfair*

Hon. Idowu Oluloro Hosts Free House-To-House Xmas Funfair.
With strict adherence to the guild lines of Covid-19 pandemic, Councilor representing Ward-D of Kosofe Local Government -Hon. Idowu Oluloro has commenced *"Free House-To-House Xmas Funfair"* in a grand style.
The funfair which commenced yesterday, 22nd December, 2020, at Anthony Village recorded almost a thousand of lives touched in the process. The humanitarian service is coming amidst economic downturn.

Previously, Hon. Idowu had donated a Free Public School Bus to pupils in his Ward. Now, it is the second edition of his annual Funfair taking place in Anthony Village:
"As you have mentioned rightly, this is the second time we are doing this. It is now an annual event. Actually, it was not in my mind to be doing it yearly but people requested for it: like this year what is going to happen? Are you not going to celebrate it for us, this year people have passed through so much. So they requested for it which is already an annual event anyway. So this is the time of giving which reminds us of when God gave us Jesus Christ  as a gift to wipe our sins away. So likewise, we should emulate that too in this season of giving to the people especially the children. As you can see my main focus is the children because they are the future and this is a passion we have for children and we have to build on it.
Hon. Oluloro said however that this opportunity is not limited to the children alone, according to him, there is also program specially planned for the adult:
"We also have packages for the adult apart from children. Last year, our target was 200 children but the turnout revealed they were more than a thousand so that is why we decided to expand this year. So after this we shall see what we can do to help the adult too.
"I feel so much happy because what the community requested for, we are able to deliver to meet their demands. What we the councilors are doing is to compliment what the State and Local Government are doing, so we have to work along with them at the grassroot levels."
Making reference to the great leaders representing Kosofe Local Government at different levels, Hon. Idowu said their legacies are a good path to follow:
"I will say it is a legacy they have laid, we see from late Sen. Bayo Osinowo to our Executive Chairman of Kosofe LG, Hon Afolabi Sofola, even our representative in the House of Rep, Hon. Rotimi Agusoye as well as our representative as the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Ganniu Okanlawon- so they are all grassrooters. We are just following their footsteps, so I want to sincerely appreciate them", he said.
