Kosofe LG CDC Celebrates Christmas in Grand Style
Community Development Committee Members and   All Progressive Congress (APC) stalwarts in Kosofe Local Government rapped up eventful year with a Christmas Celebration on Friday, 25th December, 2020.
The event which took place in an Open Field at  popular Awolowo Street, Oworoshoki in Kosofe Local Government Area recorded a joyous attendance with special regards to the Council Chairman, Hon. Afolabi Sofola.

Speaking to the press at the occasion, the CDC Chairman, Kosofe Local Government Area -Hon. Segun Babatunde expressed joy in the spirit of celebration. According to him, this year celebration is one of its kind:

"For the past 20/30 years, I have been celebrating Christmas but this year's celebration as we observe today is unique because being the CDC Chairman, I like to entertain members of the Community and the Party at large. 
"So we are here today to thank the almighty God who has made it possible for us to survive 2020. Despite the fact that there was Coronavirus and the End SARS protest which created a lot of problems in Nigeria and the entire World. So we have decided to celebrate and rejoicing today as a Party."
"For all CDAs and CDCs, I want them to take charge of all government properties in their various Communities. Because they are the owners, they should keep them safe in good condition. So also our teaming Youth, we want them to join the Party and members of the Community so they can hear them loud."
The CDC Secretary of Kosofe LG, Engineer Abiola Jimoh Kuku expressed how the CDC Chairman has always shown good leadership qualities in putting smile on people's faces. He therefore thanked all for coming and prayed for better years ahead in festivities:
"We are here to felicitate with my CDC Chairman who has made all things possible for the people to come together this time. He has indeed entertained us well as a good leader. We love him,  and we will continue to pray for him. I want to also appreciate the good people of Kosofe Local Government who gathered from their different Communities to felicitate with their leaders, by the special of God we shall gather here next year to even do better in merriment."

OGUNLEWE'S AIDE, FUNSHO SAMAGBEYI, BURIES FATHER IN-LAW IN DELTA STATE. The father-in-law of the Senior Special Assistant on  Health to Hon. Barr. Moyosore Ogunlewe was on Saturday buried in his hometown at the Frederick-Ishie Residence, Along Frederick-Ishie Crescent Umutu , Ukwuani Local Government Area of Delta State. The late Mr. Frederick O. Ishie  who died on 20th day of August 2023 at the age of 70 years, was the father of Dr.Mrs. Samagbeyi.    The late Frederick served as the general manager (Technical) of the Insurance Powerhouse, Standard Insurance Consultants.  Late Fred is an associate member of the Institute of Commercial Management Berkshire England and also an executive member of American Institute of Management, Boston.
