NEW YEAR MESSAGE FROM HON. AFOLABI SOFOLA

NEW YEAR MESSAGE FROM HON. AFOLABI SOFOLA*
I congratulate you all for seeing to the end of the old year, 2020, and the beginning of the New Year, 2021.

The old year was particularly interesting as it brought its own kind of blessings, joy, burden, sorrow, triumphs and challenges which are firmly etched in our minds. The experiences we had in the past year and the way it influences us will determine how we love in the ensuing year.  The questions now before each of us are, how well have we learned the lessons of the past and how shall we use our failures and mistakes as stepping stones to progress in this New Year?

We have overcome obstacles, taken giant strides and now buoyed with confidence to face any challenge in our way because we have firm assurances of your continual Support.

I will like to thank all the people of Kosofe local government for your unflinching support, understanding, and loyalty to our Administration from time immemorial. I thank the women, youths, market women, community leaders, traders, artisans, civil servants traditional rulers, Non governmental organizations and religions leaders.

We shall continue to provide security for lives and property and promote peace. This is primary social good in which other good rest upon. We shall also continue to provide good healthcare service by putting our Heath centres in the best shape. We are not going to slow down on education and infrastructure. It has always been our priority and we are determined to make it our greatest legacy.

It is my earnest prayer that the New Year will be peaceful and usher in fresh opportunities, goodness, prosperity and abundance to all and Sundry.

May all goals be achieved, and all your plans be fulfilled. Have a blessed year ahead.

I wish you a happy and blessed 2021.

Stay safe and use your facemask.

Coronavirus is real!

Signed:
*Hon. Afolabi Mikail Sofola*
Executive Chairman Kosofe Local Government.
