KUYE CHANGES THE FACE OF SOMOLU......

KUYE CHANGES THE  FACE OF SOMOLU......
.....Cheers as he lifts the artisans high. Promises more welfares.

An apothegm which is apt to what Hon. Ademorin Kuye had done in Somolu and Bariga is,
"When you give people fish, you have not lifted them out of poverty, but when you  teach them how to fish, you have elevated them from needs and wants", in othe words, you have cleared the path of poverty and set them up for a decent and respectful living.
This statement finds solace in the series of poverty alleviation programmes undertaken by the effervescent lawyer and politician, Hon. Ademorin Aliu Kuye, popularly called MHR.

It was a carnival of some sort at the event marking his artisan empowerment programme at his Constituency office, Pedro, in Somolu where he magnanimously doled out various working tools and equipments to 300 lucky artisans in Somolu and Bariga.
In a rare display of paying back to the people of his Constituency, various items like a set of electric Generator (Gasoline), Dryers for Hairdressers, Barbing Clippers, Grinding Machines, Sewing Machines, Computer laptops among others were presented to lucky Artisans in Somolu and Bariga Axis of Somolu Federal Constituency where Hon. Kuye is their representative.
Speaking with a tinge of joy written all over his face, a young Barber from  Somolu, Mr. Kehinde Omolade said the the gift of generator and the clipper would go a long way in putting his job in the front burner among his peers, adding that the items cost fortune and prayed fervently for Hon. Kuye in his quest to attain higher political heights.
In a similar vein, Mrs. Olufunmilayo  Oladipupo an elderly beneficiary of a brand new Sewing Machine said the market price of a Sewing Machine has gone astronomically up beyond the reach of  an average Artisan now, but Hon. Kuye came in with bail out. She said she would not vote for anyone if Kuye is in the race.
Funmilayo iyanda was still praying for Hon. Kuye as this reporter accosted her. She said as an hairdresser, she would not be able to buy dryer now because of the price, but Honourable came in to help.

The Chairman of the planning Committee and a community leader, Hon. (Prince) Adebowale Sosimi said Hon.Kuye conceived the idea of paying back to his Constituency after  being sworn in as a Member of House of Representatives by setting up a think- tank committee which he was the Chairman, The objective is to ensure that all Artisans in Somolu and Bariga are presented with working tools. Sosimi said the criteria for selecting the beneficiaries are basically through their Associations without undue influence from the committe. He said 300 lucky Artisans were picked across the two communities. He implored other yet to be selected not to be hopeless as the exercise is a continuous one. Sosimi advised the beneficiaries to make the best use of the working tools.
In his good will message, Hon. Ademorin Kuye, who arrived and joined the cheering supporters after attending to urgent National assignment, explained that the programme, the fourth in the series, was meant to say thank you and  pay back  for the support given to him during last election. He paid a glowing tribute to all the elders, traditional rulers, faith-based leaders, political leaders, Market women and the Artisans who are the beneficiaries at the event.
MHR explained that he had embarked on series of welfare programmes purposely designed to assist people in the constituency like Health insurance Scheme for people who could not fund their hospital bills. He added that he had equally made an appreciable impact in the Education sector. He had distributed National identification cards (NIN) to the Students writing this year Senior Secondary Schools and JAMB Examinations to prevent the ugliness of last year incidence of NIN.
Kuye said he had also constructed a block of six classrooms with toilets at UNA Primary School, just as he has equally built another block of six classrooms at Sherperdhill Primary School. The lawmaker told the loyal supporters that Health centre has been built at Adebule Primary School and to be complemented with Ambulance strictly for school Children in Somolu and Bariga.
He promised to present tricycles in the next empowerment programm
