OGUNLEWE HANDS OVER COMMISSIONED ROADS TO THE COMMUNITIES...
As a way of crowning his efforts and ensuring that the promise made is a promise kept, the Executive Chairman, Kosofe Local Government, Hon. (Barrister) Moyosore Ogunlewe has finally commissioned five roads he reconstructed at Oworonshoki and ifako axis of the Council.
The commissioned roads are Awanatu/Baale close and Ogundairo Streets at Oworonshoki. While Aran orin and Julius Kadiri were the luckier streets at Ifako.
The elated residents of ifako,Gbagada and Soluyi were full of joy as the councillor representing Ward C, Hon. Femi Onashile began the gale of cutting the tapes at Julius Kadri street, while the former Sole Administrator of Kosofe, Hon. Gbemi Ketiku cut the tape for Aran orin street.
In his short speech at the ifako ceremony, the Council Chairman said it was the promise made that was eventually fulfilled. He said it was necessary to hand over the roads to the communities though, the bump to slow down the speeding vehicles is yet to be done, and that would be done soon.
Ogunlewe said the health Center at Adebesin would be upgraded to an acceptable standard. He however warned the residents to be vigilant on the use of the roads. The Chairman warned against the misuse as dumping of refuse and turning them to mechanic workshops.
The leader of the house, Hon. Idowu Oluloro thanked the Chairman for his diligence, focus and fulfilment of his pleges within a space of four months on the saddle.Oluloro jokingly said the Chairman was a true replica of his father.
Baale ofAraromi ifako, Alhaji Oriola Onalaja referred to Ogunlewe as the Golden boy of Kosofe Politics in term of performances and that encomium has resonated on the roads and other welfare packages of the amiable Chairman.
At Oworoshoki, the CDC and the CDA Representatives who cut the tapes of Awanatu/Baale close and Ogundairo on behalf of the Community said it was a dawn of new era as the new Daniel has come to Kosofe.
