HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY  COMMITTEE ON JUDICIARY ON WORKING VISIT TO KOSOFE LGA.
.........Commends Kosofe LG for a classic work.
As part of its oversight functions,  Lagos State House of Assembly Committee on Judiciary, Human Rights, Public Petitions and LASIEC has paid a working  visit to Kosofe Local Government  Council.
The Committee  who was led by its Chairman, Hon. Victor Olusegun Akande was in the Council to appraise the activities  of the Customary Court and also to ensure that no impediment stands on the way of administration of Justice at the local level.
Speaking on behalf of his  members, Hon. Akande applauded the Executive Chairman, Kosofe  Local Government Barrister Moyosore Ogunlewe for a job well done particularly conducive, serene  and clean environment which   the committee scored  with excellent  percent. The Committee Chairman, representing Ojo Constituency advised that the well reconstructed Court should be used to boost the revenue base of the Council. He appealed to the Council's boss to on the completion of the Court made provision for all the necessary materials and other useful tools in order to make the court functional.
In his welcome address, 
 the Council Chairman,  said  his new Administration on assumption of  office undertook the total rebuilding of the court, not necessarily because of his profession as a lawyer but to give it a facelift as a temple of justice knowing that it was the baby of the Local government. He thanked the visiting lawmakers for their commendations  which would energise him to do more adding that the good working relationship between the council and house of Assembly was  so cordial and commendable.
At the entourage of the Hon. Akande are honourable members of the committee as  its Secretary, Hon. S.K. Oladega,  Member, Hon. Jude Idimogu with the President of the court.
