GIVE WOMEN 45% SLOTS IN GOVERNMENT.
....Hon. (Barr). Barakat Bakare urges Male leaders.

A legal Adviser to the Female Councillors Forum in Lagos State and  acting Chairman of forum of Councillors in the State, Barrister Barakat Bakare, a leader of the house from Surulere Local Government, has advised the male counterparts who dominated political posts to give female politicians 45 % opportunity in governace.

Speaking to Kosofe online News during the conference of female councillors forum held at Kosofe Local Government Secretariat recently, Hon. Bakare thanked the Executive Chairman, Kosofe Local Government for his hospitality for hosting the female Councillors' forum particularly his generosity in allowing them to make use of Kosofe Hall.
She congratulated the newly elected forum President from Ikosi-isheri Local Council Development Area, Hon. Folashade Akinpelu expressed her confidence in her leadership ability.

Hon. Bakare  said women capacity to steer the ship of governace is not in doubt, On her political journey in 2023, she said Lagos State House of Assembly is her target.
