Hon Okanlawon Trains and Empowers Constituents, Distributes 40 POS Terminal Devices With Start-up Capital
The lawmaker representing Kosofe Constituency 1 at the Lagos State House of Assembly has commenced technical training and support for the beneficiaries of Points of Sale (POS) devices in partnership with First City Monument Bank (FCMB) at his Constituency office in Mende Maryland.
The Point- of -Sale (POS) empowerment is under Hon Okla Business Support Scheme where beneficiaries, who were selected across Kosofe Constituency 1 has be supported with start-up capital by the lawmaker to setup their businesses  on a solid ground.

Hon Okanlawon, who Chairs the House Committee on Education (Ministry and Agencies) opined that he is ever committed to facilitating life- changing Opportunities and alleviating poverty for his people, adding that this kind of training gives room for them to become budding entrepreneurs, who could become business magnates in the future.

According to the trainer from FCMB, Mr. Femi Ogunfayo disclosed that the beneficiaries will have the opportunity to provide service to customers and will be entitled to commissions as well as generate income for the transactions rendered.
Apart from the training, the beneficiaries were also given promotional packages to enhance and increase the volume of their businesses.
