OGUNLEWE GIVES  SUCCOUR  TO VULNERABLE, RESIDENTS.

Like a caring king,  whose welfare of the kingdom and his people is very dear to his heart,  the epicurean Barrister-at- Law and the Chairman, Kosofe Local Government, Hon. Barr. Moyosore Ogunlewe has created a novel idea of welfare packages which are the  first of his kind in the state nay the Country.
For the first time in the history, Kosofe residents beginning with the elderly and vulnerables, then others from 18 years old would be given  food vouchers and other incentive packages after registration in each of the seven wards.
The raison detre behind this unprecedented idea is to lift the residents above poverty level which was christened grassroot Support and Empowerment.Programme. Lke other empowerment programmes which are selective, this would be all encompassing and across the board, once you register.

The residents of Kosofe were highly elated as the registration for  the new welfare programme was in progress.
A resident of Emmanuel High Street, Mrs. Idowu Labake was full of prayer for the Chairman, she thanked him for  remembering  the poor.
CDC Chairman, Kosofe Local Government, Hon. Segun Babatunde referred to Ogunlewe as a complete grassroot  man with a milk of human kindness, a man who knew the yearning of vulnerables in the community. Hon. Segun Babatunde added that the programme would assist them during the electioneering campaign where the beneficiaries would not be demanding for another another gratification since these palliatives would be the incentives to move the campaign train forward.

At Oworonshoki axis of the Council, a resident simply known as Amarachi like other beneficiaries thanked the Chairman for his magnanimity and prayed for him fervently.
Another respondent, Mr. Samuel Omowo traced the welfare initiative of the Executive Chairman to the period of 100 days in office. He said the feedback from people showed that he is a people oriented Chairman and a core grassroot man, adding that Kosofe residents would not forget him in a hurry and they are very grateful for these timely palliatives.
