In his usual characteristics of baring his  feelings, the soft spoken Executive Chairman, Kosofe Local Government, Barrister Moyosore Ogunlewe has told the newly sworn-in members of Executive Council, Comprising of his Chief of Staff, Secretary to Local Government, Supervisors and Special Advisers not to see their appointment as leisure or enjoyable activities, but a call to duty, therefore they should brace up for serious assignments and hit the ground running as soon as they took over.
Speaking further, he congratulated the nominees for being chosen among others and scalling through the Screening exercise conducted by the Council's legislators.

Ogunlewe advised the new Exco members to live up to expectations by  keying into the legacies of the Administration that have changed the faces of governance in KOSOFE.
"You are the ears, eyes and hands of the Executive Chairman in addressing and executing the important issues and challenges facing our local government. We have  before us, many urgent challenges arising  from our various projects we have embarked upon  for the past eight months coupled with pressure of 2023  politics, and we must not derailed", Ogunlewe said.
Earlier, in his welcome address, the leader of  the house,  Hon. Idowu Oluloro thanked the Chairman and the party leaders for their tireless efforts in selecting the supervisors. House leader congratulated the nominees and urged them to live up to the expectation.

The council's Legal officer, admistered the oath of allegiance and oath of secrecy on the new Appointees.


The  executive members who took their oath of office include Hon. Fatai Gbadebo, Secretary to local government,  Hon.Taiwo Balogun, Supervisor, Hon. Lawal Adedayo, Supervisor, Hon.Odubamise Oduwale Jonathan, Supervisor,  Hon.Adekunle Olorunfunmi, Supervisor, Hon. Abayomi Olugbidin Benjamin, Supervisor, Hon. kehinde Saka, Supervisor, Hon. David Gbenga, Supervisor, Hon. Ganiyu Oyebanji, Special Adviser, Hon. Omokhudu Alufohai , Special Adviser , Hon. (Mrs.) Funmilayo Owolabi, Special Adviser and Hon. Akinyemi Abiona, Chief  of Staff.

Hon. Fatai Gbadebo, the new Secretary  who spoke on behalf of the new Exco members thanked the Executive Chairman and the party leaders for deeming it fit  to consider them for the exakted positions.

He pledged that all the Executive Members would Perform exceptionally, while the new Special Advisers Hon. Omokhudu  Alufohai  saw their appointments as  challenge to give their best.

Lots of dignitaries, including APC stalwarts, women leaders, party members, traditional and religious leaders with several other stakeholders in the Local Government Area were present at the event.
Notable among those who grace the inauguration ceremony includes the leader of the House, Hon. Idowu Oluloro, Councillors, Representative of GAC members, Representative of Member of House of Representatives, Representative of House of Assembly Member, Representative of LGA Party Chairman, Head of Administration, Mr. MBS Arole, CDC Chairman, Hon. Olusegun Babatunde, Hon. Lanre Carew, Hon. Bowale Benson, Party Secretary among others.
