In what appeared as a prayer session for the presidential aspirant of All progressives Congress, APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu at Kosofe Secretariat took a comical dimension as the Executive Chairman, Hon. Moyosore Ogunlewe was rechristened "Muhammadu," by league of imams and the people who attended the session.
Speaking unscripted, the Council boss said the ramadan lecture was organised in honour of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, currently in Mecca for Umrrah (lesser hajj) as  a spiritual back up for him in his aspiration to ascend the presidential throne.

"The purpose of this prayer session is to give our leader of leaders, Asiwaju now performing ummra in Mecca spiritual back up, we know how important the last ten days of ramadan is, which is holy Night", he said. The Council boss used the occasion to counsel the muslim faithful to desist from unsavoury conducts particularly the youths even after the ramadan period, 
In his own good will message, the Secretary to the Council, Hon. Abdulfatai Gbadebo thanked the Chairman for the opportunity extended to him on the occasion and particularly organising the session. Hon. Gbadebo said the subject of the prayer, Asiwaju was too precious to all and he needed everyone prayer.

He advised the Muslims  to love one another and desist from act not  in tune with Islamic doctrine as enunciated by prophet Muhammad.

The head of legislative Council, Hon Idowu Oluloro  in his brief goodwill remark, thanked the Council Chairman and the league of imams for the ramadan prayer for Asiwaju's aspiration. Oluloro enjoined the ulamas to entend their by prayers to every participants in the forth coming election, so that none would be sacrificial animal.
In his thought- provoking lecture, Fadilat Sheik Abdul kelani whose theme of lecture was  "youth and Education"  thanked the Executive Chairman for organizing a befitting prayer session for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. He said Ogunlewe family has become household name in politics and the  young Chairman continued to elevate the popular name. He said Tinubu was incomparable in the contemporary politics of Nigeria. He  advised all youths to emulate Ogunlewe and should not lend themselves to act capable of destroying what we struggle to build. He said the youths should employ education  to build our society which belong to them. He warned politicians  to desist from using youths as thugs during elections. He used the occasion to remember the late Senator Bayo Osinowo, Pepperito who was a great politician and promoter of islam.
, Fadilat Sheik Lookman Sanusi who led the prayer began the prayer session by asking Allah to protect and give Tinubu the victory as a yoruba man and a devoted Muslim.He extended the prayer to the Chairman of  Kosofe local government, all the legislative, Executive and all the entire staff of the Council. He also asked for uncommon wisdom for the Governor Mr. Babajide Sanwo olu and all his lieutenants.

OGUNLEWE'S AIDE, FUNSHO SAMAGBEYI, BURIES FATHER IN-LAW IN DELTA STATE. The father-in-law of the Senior Special Assistant on  Health to Hon. Barr. Moyosore Ogunlewe was on Saturday buried in his hometown at the Frederick-Ishie Residence, Along Frederick-Ishie Crescent Umutu , Ukwuani Local Government Area of Delta State. The late Mr. Frederick O. Ishie  who died on 20th day of August 2023 at the age of 70 years, was the father of Dr.Mrs. Samagbeyi.    The late Frederick served as the general manager (Technical) of the Insurance Powerhouse, Standard Insurance Consultants.  Late Fred is an associate member of the Institute of Commercial Management Berkshire England and also an executive member of American Institute of Management, Boston.
