EID-EL-KABIR MESSAGE OF OLOWORO OF OWORONSHOKI KINGDOM HRM OBA BABATUNDE SALIU.

EID-EL-KABIR MESSAGE OF OLOWORO OF OWORONSHOKI KINGDOM HRM OBA BABATUNDE SALIU.

On behalf of Olori, the palace Chiefs and the entire Bashir Oloruntoyin Royal Family I felicitate  all our Muslim brothers and sisters in Oworonshoki, Kosofe Local Government and beyond on the occasion of this year Eid-el-Kabir celebration.

Eid-el-Kabir is a symbolic occasion in the annals of mankind that teaches about rewards for the belief and strong faith in God by Prophet Ibrahim in moment of great tribulation and temptation.
This serves as a strong reminder to us that bountiful rewards await us when we remain persistent in our faith and prayers to Almighty Allah in the moment of great tribulations. It also reminds us of the great sacrifice we have to make for the purpose of our spiritual elevation and the development of our society.

I, therefore, enjoin all our Muslim faithful and the people of other faiths to imbide the lesson inherent in this symbolic occasion for the sake of peaceful coexistence and betterment of our community.
As a community of people we must endeavour to be patient, tolerant and work towards the peaceful coexistence, growth and development of our community.

As the traditional ruler of this great Kingdom I am committed towards the realization of accelerated development, peaceful coexistence of our people, protection of lives and property and the prosperity of our great community.

To this end, I urge each and everyone to join hands with me to work with a common goal as we embark on this great journey for the greatness of Oworonshoki Kingdom and Kosofe local government at large.
I wish to use this opportunity to thank the Lagos State Governor, Kosofe Local Government Chairman, members of Bashir Oloruntoyin Saliu Royal Family, Ojora Royal Family, the Baales, the Palace Chiefs, the Council of Elders, the Youth, the Women and entire people of Oworonshoki for their immense support.

Happy Eid-el-Kabir!

E-Signed:
