To many political watchers and pundits,  Barr. Moyosore Adedoyin Ogunlewe, an effervescent lawyer just rode on the popularity and fame of his father, Senator Kingsley Adeseye Ogunlewe, a distinguished Senator of Federal republic and erstwhile Minister of Works. 
That shortsighted notion being bandied about by such people has been blown into smithereens by the earth-shaking performance of this young, brilliant and creative Executive Chairman of Kosofe Local Government.
He took another route different from his popular father and carved a niche for himself, thus, establishing his own identity different from his father.
 The Kosofe number one man is hell-bent on ensuring his giant strides and indelible footprints are seen across board, delivering his numerous campaign promises to the people who elected him into office.
 After being sworn in last year, on 27 July, 2022, he made it clear his good intention to redefine and redesign Kosofe to the envy of other Councils through developmental projects. These pledges he has kept without failing, most especially in the realm of Education, Road construction, empowerment, skill acquisition, primary health care, adult literacy sensitization, trade and commerce and a host of others.
As a lover of education and a graduate of Business  Administration and Law from the Universities of Lagos, Nigeria and  Buckingham in the UK, he magnanimously doled out 1,000 JAMB forms as a follow-up to 150 GCE  forms he had earlier given to indigent students in Kosofe. Sources close to him disclosed that he loves education and will spare no cost to enable indigent students to benefit immensely from his government. 

He is a shining example of a youth ambassador who sees education as a pedestal to attain greater heights. He has educational qualifications that can best be described as intimidating, yes, the Executive Chairman is a

Moyo’s desire to better the lives of the common man and the society at large was what attracted him to politics and he contested for the Lagos State House of Assembly seat for Kosofe Constituency 1 in 2015 and 2019 and to the Glory of God, he is now the elected Executive Chairman of Kosofe Local Government on the platform of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in the local government election held on July 24th, 2021. 

In less than 8 months in office, in the Education sector, he launched a free Adult Literacy program. 

In the Healthcare sector, he procured a brand new Ambulance and launched a care program -Kosofe Cares- for the elderly (60 years and above). In the Works and Infrastructure sector, he  reconstructed 11 roads and 6 drainages within the local government, and also completed the construction of a new Customary court. 

To Increase the Internally Generated Revenue, he purchased four mini-buses to boost revenue collection. He also bought buses for the Market men and women and the Legislators for their oversight functions. He improved the welfare package of staff of the Local Government and employed over 100 non-pensionable staff and increased the salary of the existing ones.

 He also bought a mini-bus for the NULGE executives. He improved the security within the local government among other achievements.

As he celebrates his action-packed one year in office, he has established a legacy that would be used as a benchmark in Council.

OGUNLEWE'S AIDE, FUNSHO SAMAGBEYI, BURIES FATHER IN-LAW IN DELTA STATE. The father-in-law of the Senior Special Assistant on  Health to Hon. Barr. Moyosore Ogunlewe was on Saturday buried in his hometown at the Frederick-Ishie Residence, Along Frederick-Ishie Crescent Umutu , Ukwuani Local Government Area of Delta State. The late Mr. Frederick O. Ishie  who died on 20th day of August 2023 at the age of 70 years, was the father of Dr.Mrs. Samagbeyi.    The late Frederick served as the general manager (Technical) of the Insurance Powerhouse, Standard Insurance Consultants.  Late Fred is an associate member of the Institute of Commercial Management Berkshire England and also an executive member of American Institute of Management, Boston.
