KOSOFE COUNCIL BOSS, OGUNLEWE DISTRIBUTES 300 FREE GCE FORMS TO STUDENTS

This was the memorable statement of the Executive Chairman, Kosofe Local Government, Barrister Moyosore Ogunlewe at the presentation of free GCE forms to 300 lucky candidates who were selected for the annual Educational programme on Thursday.
Quoting copiously from the late  Nelson Mandela and Minister of Works, Babatunde Raji Fashola, Ogunlewe said Education  was the greatest legacy to be given to our children just as it was equivalent to a currency which no central Bank can print or issue.
Speaking with a tinge of passion. The number one man in Kosofe added that those at the helm of public affairs must endeavour to create an enable environment by giving the army of willing youths the necessary opportunity to rediscover themselves particularly the indigent but talented ones, because Education in his words is barometer to measure greatness and and success.
Ogunlewe explained that just like Health care, his Administration accorded a top priority to the twosome in the Council's fiscal budget. He advised the selected Candidates to avail themselves of the golden opportunity offered by this free GCE forms and tutorial by being proactive in passing their papers once and for all. Ogunlewe reeled out all his plans for education in Kosofe as ICT, free schools items and general reconstruction of bad Schools.
Ogunlewe added further that because of his ingrafted love for education, he is currently undertaking his doctoral programme in Law.
He paid a glowing tribute to the public spirited foundation, SOHCAHTOA for the support given to the Council by bankrolling additional 150 GCE forms.
The Chief Executive Officer and the co -founder of the foundation, Mrs. Solape Fayemi quoting Carol Burnet, averred that if you have dream, grab it, She advised the lucky candidates to seize the opportunity offered by the free GCE  and coaching by excelling at the examination. She congratulated the lucky youths. The leader of the legislative arm, Hon. Idowu Oluloro gave kudos to the Executive Chairman for his unfettered love for Education and equally thanked the supporting foundation  who donated 150 forms as additional ones to the Council. He counseled the various students to go out and make the Council proud in the examination, just as the Secretary to the Council, Hon. Fatai Gbadebo urged the youths to tackle their papers and pass with flying colors, reminding them that Education was the only avenue to attain greatness. He told them that to be a lawyer like the Chairman, they must read.

The Head of Administration, Mrs. Adetokunbo Ogabi said they used cost effective method and impartiality to select the lucky candidates and advice them to justify the investment on them.
Symbolic presentation of the entry forms to lucky candidates were done by the Chairman supported by other guests.
