.... Colourful carnival at coronation ceremony...

In a carnival-like ceremony, the score of dignitaries from all walks of life thronged the royal and beautifully decorated venue of the colourful event.
Oba Saliu was resplendent in his royal regalia of white agbada with designer crown grinning from ear to ear as he exchanged banter with people, waving his white horsetail.
Amongst the highbrow dignitaries are royal fathers from all parts of the state and beyond, particularly the presence of the Ooni of Ife, Oba  Ogunwusi, (Ojaja ll) who led other Obas in opening Prayer and words of exhortation.
The Paramount royal father congratulated the new Oba, urging him to be courageous in victory and be magnanimous to all, advising him to administer his kingdom with fairness and prayed for him to have peace and prosperity during his tenure.
The new Oba was highly elated with the guests, dignitaries and people generally that came to the highbrow ceremony, thanking them for their show of love, kindness, prayer and support. He vowed to make fairness, peace, progress and development his article of faith during his tenure as Oba in Oworonshoki Kingdom.

The royal fathers in attendance include Ooni of Ife, Oba Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojora of Ijoraland, Oba Fatai Aromire, Asolo of isolo, Oba Kabir Agbabiaka, Elegushi of ikateland, Oba Ademola Elegushi, Olofin Adimula of isheri Olofin, Oba Sulaimon Bamgbade among other numerous royal fathers that graced the occasion. The chief host, and Executive Chairman of Kosofe Local Government, *Hon. Barrister Moyosore Ogunlewe*, *Mayoress Samiat Bada* led the legislative arm and Executive members of the Council to the colourful ceremony.

 The father of the day was the Elder statesman, Omoba Muyiwa Sosanya.
The event of the day was anchored by Gbenga Adeyinka while a popular Fuji Musician, King Wasiu Ayinde Marshall (KWAM 1) spiced with beautiful Fuji music.

OGUNLEWE'S AIDE, FUNSHO SAMAGBEYI, BURIES FATHER IN-LAW IN DELTA STATE. The father-in-law of the Senior Special Assistant on  Health to Hon. Barr. Moyosore Ogunlewe was on Saturday buried in his hometown at the Frederick-Ishie Residence, Along Frederick-Ishie Crescent Umutu , Ukwuani Local Government Area of Delta State. The late Mr. Frederick O. Ishie  who died on 20th day of August 2023 at the age of 70 years, was the father of Dr.Mrs. Samagbeyi.    The late Frederick served as the general manager (Technical) of the Insurance Powerhouse, Standard Insurance Consultants.  Late Fred is an associate member of the Institute of Commercial Management Berkshire England and also an executive member of American Institute of Management, Boston.
