The executive chairman in Ajeromi-Ifelodun Local Government, Hon. Fatai Adekunle Ayoola, on Wednesday, felicitates with members of grassroots media aides as the group commenced this year's media retreat today.

The council mayor who described the association of Chief Press Secretaries (CPS), as the bridge between government and general public in the grassroots, commended and wish them a successful fifth annual media retreat.

While expressing his stand on CPS activities, he urged the group to spread what he termed the 'Renewed Hope' of the APC national leader and presidential candidate, His Excellency; Asíwájú Bola Ahmed Tinubu, across communities in Lagos State.

"We have begun the Asíwájú's project and you must take the forefront in the public advocacy of an Bola Tinubu's emergence as President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria," he added.

Ayoola, who doubles as Director Ethnic groups, Lagos APC Campaign committee for the 2023 general elections , noted that governance with the All Progressives Congress presidential candidate, Tinubu, will enhance equal distribution of dividends of democracy.

"Asíwájú will get dividends of democracy to doorsteps of the masses in 2023," he asserted.

The association of Chief Press Secretaries (CPS) will embark on a three day annual media retreat,  which commence today and closes on Sunday.

This year's event will hold in Somolu-Bariga, and according to information gathered, would focus on honouring the executive chairman of Bariga local council development area, Hon. Alabi Kolade David, and how grassroots media aides will serve as the frontline media group in the grassroots to push the project of Asíwájú's presidency and Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-olu's emergence as Lagos Governor for a second term in office.
