Moyosore Adedoyin Ogunlewe on the occasion of 3-day free glass /eye test under the auspices of Kosofe local government in conjunction with Precious Sight Foundation on 19th December, 2022 at the Council Secretariat.


Text of Speech delivered by the Executive Chairman, Kosofe Local Government, Hon. Barr. Moyosore Adedoyin Ogunlewe on the occasion of 3-day free glass /eye test under the auspices of Kosofe local government in conjunction with Precious Sight Foundation on 19th December, 2022 at the Council Secretariat. 
Protocols:

It affords me a great opportunity to stand before you this morning as the Executive Chairman of this great Council, Kosofe Local Govt to declare open this health related programme, "free glass and eye test" which is jointly bankrolled by our amiable Council in collaboration with Precious sight foundation, an NGO with milk of human kindness.
The 3- day intensive sight screening exercise would revolve round comprehensive diagnosis of ailments associated with sight as cataract, glaucoma and other sight infectious diseases, with prescription of free medication and lenses for the good people of Kosofe Local Government. 

A selected team of Ophthalmologists (eyes doctors) have been contacted to carry out the exercise which l must for emphasis sake is Pro bono (free of charge). 
Our Administration will not relent in ensuring that welfare packages for our people is a rule rather than exception whether on provision of infrastructures, education, health and other good things that will make people comfortable and happy. 
Let me further add that we have just concluded the year 2023 budget preparation retreat where we roll out financial expenditure with proposal on how to achieve them for our people's well being. Their overall happiness is our major concern and that was what we promised them. 

As an aside, l want to implore the good people of Kosofe generally to play their individual's role of paying their rates and taxes. It is  a complementary role of keeping the government on the wheel of progress to provide all the needed facilities. 

Finally, l want to remind everybody present here and not here particularly those who have registered for the permanent voters' cards (PVCs to go to all the designated centres to get them. It is your right and make sure you vote massively for a party that will guarantee your today and your brighter tomorrow, that party is undoubtedly, All progressives Congress. (APC) . This is a pay back time.

OGUNLEWE'S AIDE, FUNSHO SAMAGBEYI, BURIES FATHER IN-LAW IN DELTA STATE. The father-in-law of the Senior Special Assistant on  Health to Hon. Barr. Moyosore Ogunlewe was on Saturday buried in his hometown at the Frederick-Ishie Residence, Along Frederick-Ishie Crescent Umutu , Ukwuani Local Government Area of Delta State. The late Mr. Frederick O. Ishie  who died on 20th day of August 2023 at the age of 70 years, was the father of Dr.Mrs. Samagbeyi.    The late Frederick served as the general manager (Technical) of the Insurance Powerhouse, Standard Insurance Consultants.  Late Fred is an associate member of the Institute of Commercial Management Berkshire England and also an executive member of American Institute of Management, Boston. He is a member in Council of the Nigerian Corporation of Registered Insurance Brokers and he served as the Branch Chairman (West) of the Organization. Sin
