By Comrade Taiwo Fadipe
The former aspirant for Kosofe Federal constituency, a software and cloud engineer, a grounded politician of repute, Hon. (Engr). Abiodun Owokoya (a.ka. Abbey Cheche), has stoutly stood by the choice of the party regarding who represents Kosofe federal constituency. He made this disclosure as a guest at the event marking the 8th- day fidau prayer service in honour of Alhaji Musendiq Atanda Rabiu, the father of former Kosofe Local Government House of assembly and chairmanship aspirant, Hon. Olayinka Rabiu (Whitee).
Speaking further, Hon. Owokoya said the Choice of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as presidential candidate of APC and re- election of Governor Babajide Sanwoolu of Lagos State who have done wonderfully well are rule rather than exception. He appealed to all the electorates to vote for all the APC's candidates in this coming election, be it house of Assembly, house of representatives, Senate, governor and president."They have done well and there is need for such people to come back", Abbey Cheche said. He promised to do all his best with other party members to ensure that all the APC candidates in Kosofe and Lagos State win their election by giving them maximum support.
Cheche had a message for Nigeria people generally particularly the youths. "Let's embrace one another, let's correct each other and to our leaders, they should take into consideration that there are lot of people out there who are poor who could not afford the luxury of life, who couldn't afford three square meal especially the youths who are very sharp but unfortunately, government is not even looking their way and that was the reason why l ran for House of representative in kosofe, but unfortunately l wasn't lucky, but it doesn't stop my manifesto and my support for the candidate the Party had chosen. I want to assure the youths in Kosofe that they won't be left out. In as far as Cheche is still in politics, the youths must have their say and way".
