"ASIWAJU IS THE HOPE AND BEST MAN FOR THE JOB....... " HON. OLOWO

..... Organizes carnival like rally for Tinubu, Sanwo-olu in Somolu,

Fires salvos at Buhari on monetary policies and the attendant pains on populace.

The honourable Member representing Somolu constituency 1 at the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Rotimi Olowo has organized a carnival like rally to drum support for the Presidential Candidate of All Progressives Congress, APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and re- election of Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwoolu as the Governor of Lagos State. 

Hon. Rotimi Olowo who described Tinubu as an icon, a rare breed and the best among the packs bidding for the presidential job, said Asiwaju stands out amongst the candidates jostling for the prestigious position. 

He said, "I don't think there's anybody that is more popular than me here in Somolu /Bariga axis, that's  why l have to come out to join the people in campaigning for Asiwaju. I've forgiven people who offended me politically, because the election is just a few weeks now, it can affect the polls if l stay away, l believe in Asiwaju, l have to campaign for him".

Hon. Olowo enjoined the people of Somolu and Bariga to come out enmasse to vote for  Asiwaju/Shettima and Sanwoolu/ Hamzat for governorship election. 

Speaking with tinge of disappointment and bitterness on the state of the Nation regarding the  monetary policy of the  Federal Government, Olowo descended on the President on his anti people monetary policy especially the ripple effects on old citizens and the vulnerable. 

"If you have a President that is responsible and responsive, we shouldn't be talking about money at this critical period of our lives, he made a reckless statement that really affected people, we have a lot of money  already in central Bank, the one in the hand you said they cannot spend it, isn't it ridiculous, how do you expect these people in the rural areas who have no banking experience or access to internet, and ATM machines to survive in the next 60 days, these are the people who voted for us, l must say that our leaders have failed us, and that is why we have to vote for a man who has the fear of God and humanity in his heart, the man that has the knowledge, the intellectual capacity, the unifier who has the uncommon capacity to  bring intellectuals together, you know what he did as a governor of Lagos State, and can do better as a President of Nigeria. He was the one that discovered the likes of Osinbajo, as one of his lieutenants, Fashola was one of his lieutenants, Lai Muhammed was one of his lieutenants, Ambode and the current governor of Lagos State are amongst his lieutenants. We saw his robust cabinet when he was the governor of Lagos state". He explained further. 

Olowo was very livid with the leadership of the party for their insensitivity and failure at the national level, particularly at this critical time when many people are caged financially as a result of unpopular monetary policies that put them in serious financial difficulty.
