........As he gives succour to the vulnerable by supporting the health insurance scheme for 300 beneficiaries. 
The Executive Chairman, Kosofe Local Government, Barrister Moyosore Ogunlewe played host to  Lagos State Health Management Agency LASHMA  which launched its new health Scheme, Christened ilera Eko health insurance Scheme under the auspices of Eko Social Health Alliance. 
EKOSHA for short is an initiative of the Governor, Mr. Babajide olusola Sanwo-olu to provide a qualitative and affordable healthcare to all Lagosians especially the indigents and the vulnerable. 
The objectives of the scheme is to increase awareness of social inclusion for health in Lagos State. 
Build a  vulnerable database of residents in Lagos State for free health insurance. To increase the coverage among vulnerable thereby promoting broad participation in health insurance and equity and to mobilize additional funds through an innovative finance mechanism to pay for the health insurance of vulnerable residents of Lagos State.
 The modus Operandi  of the health  programme is to register one's family for Ilera Eko health insurance plan with Eko Social Health Alliance (EKOSHA), obtain policy number and ilera eko identity card, visit the hospital whenever you wish to see a doctor among others. 
The Council Chairman, Hon. Moyo Ogunlewe supported the health scheme on behalf of 300 vulnerable in Kosofe. 
Speaking on the laudable programme, the Council boss gave the Governor kudos for the worthwhile scheme designed for people especially the downtrodden in the State. He said the programme would lift heavy financial burden  from the shoulders of the vulnerable as the scheme is one to assist them in accessing better health care in the state. He reeled out the council's health care programmes that people have benefitted from last year as free eye glass, kosofe ambulance and the newly commissioned Oworonshoki primary health centre bankrolled by access bank. He enjoined kosofe residents to massively embrace the good scheme. 

 The Secretary to the Council, Mr. Abdulfatai Gbadebo thanked the Governor for deeming it fit to consider Kosofe for the beautiful health care programme. He also on behalf of the Chairman thanked all the participants who came for the programme particularly the Baale, market women and men. 
He implored them to take advantage of the scheme by fully enrolled as this would assist them financially.

The Baale of ifako who spoke in yoruba thanked the Health scheme Agency for the good and beneficial programme and the governor for considering Kosofe for the scheme. He advised the good people of Kosofe to duly cooperate with the government to ensure that the scheme succeeded.

The representative of FCMB said the bank in conjunction with Eko social health Alliance EKOSHA has 1000  slots for the people of Kosofe and explained the modality for enrolment in the Scheme. 

The General Manager, Lagos State Health Management Agency, Dr. Emmanuella Zamba in her own remarks on behalf of the Governor and the honourable Commissioner for Health, thanked the people of Kosofe local Government for the massive turnout. She explained the objectives of the scheme and implored the members of the community to enrol in the scheme which is designed to assist them. She thanked the Chairman of kosofe for being their host and and the people of Kosofe generally.
