Senator Abiru Welcomes distinguished Senators under the auspices of Stability Group to Lagos as part of the ongoing consultation and support canvassing for the candidacy of of His Excellency, Senator Godswill Akpabio

On Sunday, I welcomed fellow distinguished Senators under the auspices of Stability Group to Lagos as part of the ongoing consultation and support canvassing for the candidacy of His Excellency, Senator Godswill Akpabio and Senator Jubrin Barau who are seeking to become 10th National Assembly Senate President and Deputy Senate President respectively.
We had a parley with top media editors and executives. Distinguished  Senator Akpabio engaged journalists on his laudable plans if elected as the President of the 10th Senate. He spoke extensively on his enduring legacies and outstanding achievements when he served as the Governor of Akwa-Ibom State for eight years and as Honourable minister.

We also consulted the governor of Lagos State, His Excellency, Mr Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu at State House, Marina. I want to specially thank my fellow distinguished colleagues, APC governors and leaders of our great party who are standing solidly behind the candidates endorsed by the party.
