OBA SALIU, OLOWORO ll IGNITES OWORONSOKI AT FIRST CORONATION CEREMONY.......

The sprawling and riverine city of oworonshoki became a beehive of social activities on Saturday as the ancient town received unprecedented and prominent guests who thronged  there to celebrate with the paramount ruler of the town, His Royal Highness, Oba Babatunde Saliu, Elebo ll, the Oloworo of Oworonsoki kingdom who was celebrating his 1st Coronation Anniversary on the throne.
The carnival like ceremony attracted the creme de la creme both in social and traditional circles.

The anniversary was preceded by the conferment of Chieftaincy titles to some prominent men and women in the society.
Chief Mufutau Olabimtan and his delectable wife, Abike  bagged Asoju and yeye Asoju of Oworonsoki. Others are Chief Yusuf Busari and his amiable wife, Ashietu who were conferred with Borokini and Yeye Borokini of Oworonsoki, while Chief Babajide Yahaya Agunbiade and  Chief (Mrs). Morenikeji Atoyegbe bagged Bobaselu and Yeye oge of Oworonsoki kingdom respectively. 
The anniversary was spiced by the presence of galaxy of traditional rulers who came to rejoice with one of them. 
Oba Sulaimon Bamgbade, the Olofin Adimula of Isheri Olofin led the coterie which included  Oba Kabir Agbabiaka, Osolo of isolo, Oba Morufu Adisa Adekunle, ojoola, the paramount ruler of Ejigbo, the Olu of
 Agboyi, Oba Monsur Abimbola Oladega,  among others top- notch traditional rulers.

The anniversary attracted prominent people like the Executive Chairman. Kosofe Local Government, Barrister Moyosore Ogunlewe. Rt.Hon. Kafilat Adetola Ogbara, rep Kosofe federal constituency.

 Other personalities at the occasion are Alhaji Musiliu Ayinde Akinsanya, M.C. Oluomo, Executive Chairman Ikosi -Isheri LCDA, Princess Samiat Bada,  Scribe to Kosofe Local Government, Hon. Fatai Gbadebo, Mrs. Adejumoke Animawun, Assistant Secretary, APC Lagos State Chapter; Former Special Assistant   Political Matters South West to the Speaker House of Representatives, Prince Ibrahim Oladega; Former SLA to the Speaker House of Representatives, Hon. Olusegun Apena; Hon. Oluwafemi Gabriel,  Kosofe Local Government Councillors, Supervisors, SSA's, Management, NULGE among others. 

Two prominent Fuji maestros Alhaji Wasiu  Ayinde Marshall and Wasiu Alabi Pasuma entertained the audience.

OGUNLEWE'S AIDE, FUNSHO SAMAGBEYI, BURIES FATHER IN-LAW IN DELTA STATE. The father-in-law of the Senior Special Assistant on  Health to Hon. Barr. Moyosore Ogunlewe was on Saturday buried in his hometown at the Frederick-Ishie Residence, Along Frederick-Ishie Crescent Umutu , Ukwuani Local Government Area of Delta State. The late Mr. Frederick O. Ishie  who died on 20th day of August 2023 at the age of 70 years, was the father of Dr.Mrs. Samagbeyi.    The late Frederick served as the general manager (Technical) of the Insurance Powerhouse, Standard Insurance Consultants.  Late Fred is an associate member of the Institute of Commercial Management Berkshire England and also an executive member of American Institute of Management, Boston.
