MONSURU AKERELE, ( AREA) SCORES A BULL's  EYE...
.......cheers as he receives the most outstanding humanitarian service awards for the year 2023.
Kindness and service to humanity have its own reward in the long run, this aptly describes the incessant and unrelenting assistance being rendered to humanity generally by Alhaji Monsuru Kayode Akerele, popularly known as Area.
In an award ceremony organized by a political group named  Asiwaju initiative group on Tuesday 1st August 2023, Area was unanimously chosen as the fitted personality for the most outstanding humanitarian Award for the year 2023 as a result of his contribution towards humanity in Lagos State.
The upbeat and cheering receiver of the golden award, Alhaji Kayode Akerele in his thank you remarks lauded the group, Asiwaju initiative for considering him worthy of the outstanding award which he said was not surprised due to his gestures.
"l am very happy for the award, if you're good, you needn't say it yourself, people will say it for you, l want to advise people to learn from this, to carry people along in their little area whether widows and others, try to touch their lives. Receiving this award is a reward for my being good to people out there" he explained.
Area said that people must endeavor to assist the less privileged because, in the long run, your character will speak for you.

On the youths who indulge in anti-social activities, he said he often advised them to do away with all these unsavory attitudes which would do them no good, and embraced civility so that their future would be bright. He further counseled them to see Nigeria as a prosperous Nation that holds good prospects for them so they must not be in a hurry to get rich in a crooked way. Patience he further added,  is the name of the game.

 Area buttressed his remark by citing the President, Asiwaju Nola Ahmed Tinubu as an example of a man with a vision blessed with a mission who stoically trudged along before attaining and achieving his life-long ambition, this is said, is the steps all youths should follow to succeed.

 The prestigious award was presented to him by the representative of Asiwaju Initiative Group, Hon. Demola Osibajo

The colorful ceremony was held at his office, Onigbongbo, Maryland, Lagos.    

The epic event was witnessed by the face of Onigbongbo; Rukayat Ajibola, Aminat, Mudasheer, Bose, Tokunbo Odumosun; Team Onigbongbo, and Chief Imam Wasimi, Alhaji Adeyemi Rasheed, and others.

OGUNLEWE'S AIDE, FUNSHO SAMAGBEYI, BURIES FATHER IN-LAW IN DELTA STATE. The father-in-law of the Senior Special Assistant on  Health to Hon. Barr. Moyosore Ogunlewe was on Saturday buried in his hometown at the Frederick-Ishie Residence, Along Frederick-Ishie Crescent Umutu , Ukwuani Local Government Area of Delta State. The late Mr. Frederick O. Ishie  who died on 20th day of August 2023 at the age of 70 years, was the father of Dr.Mrs. Samagbeyi.    The late Frederick served as the general manager (Technical) of the Insurance Powerhouse, Standard Insurance Consultants.  Late Fred is an associate member of the Institute of Commercial Management Berkshire England and also an executive member of American Institute of Management, Boston.
